My family is my greatest source of inspiration. My great grandfather, Rafael Hernandez, composed music about the tribulations of rural life in Jalisco, Mexico. My grandmother, Soledad Barba, embroidered imagery in her clothing since the age of 11. Being a storyteller is ingrained in my DNA. I’ve engaged with the creative medium of filmmaking and image-creation since 2013.
